When I saw the light of day on 20th July 1969, media around the globe commented "That's one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind", but they were, of course, not refering to me but to Neil Armstrong who landed on the moon in that night, thus opening a new capter of the history of humanity.

Maybe the connection of my birth with this historical event has been the reason, why I have always loved to travel between the worlds and broaden my horizon.

After several excursions between the different linguistic and cultural worlds on our earth, I began to study English, Spanish and political science at the Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn (Northamerican Programme) in 1996. In 1998, I changed subject and began to study translation science for English and Spanish at the Humboldt University of Berlin which I completed with my diploma thesis on "Culture, language and identity between globalisation and localisation" in February 2003.

Since then, I have been supporting on a freelance basis several companies, institutions and individuals very successfully in their intercultural communication. I am member of the BDÜ (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators) and since December 2003 generally sworn in by the Regional Court of Berlin for English and Spanish.
